Not “I Do” at Earth Hour, but “I will” … This year’s theme for Earth Hour that happens on Saturday at 8.30pm is “I Will If You Will”, a challenge-based platform that encourages people to go ‘beyond the hour’ to preserve and protect the planet. Even as malls, government offices and corporations pull the plug on all but essential lights in support of the annual event to raise awareness of climate change, some companies have taken steps to make a change for more than 60 minutes and much earlier, too. Singapore country CEO of Credit Suisse, Mr Lito Camacho, issued a challenge to his 5,000 staff a fortnight earlier, pledging to plant 100 trees if staff commit to reduce their carbon footprint, by 500,000 kilograms (kg) of carbon dioxide by end of the year. The company intends to track the reduction target with a customised, web-based carbon footprint monitor which calculates everything from a water-saving shower head to the use of LED lighting. – ChannelNewsAsia

Free-Market Analysis: Every time we turn around we are assaulted with another meme of elite propaganda. They are mostly fear-based, promoting scarcity themes.

Today, we are being beaten upside our collective pointy (elvish) heads with “Earth Hour.”

We call these dishonest fairy tales “dominant social themes,” and their point is to frighten people into giving up wealth and power to globalist facilities. This is how the power elite apparently intends to build global government.

One of the biggest of these fear-based promotions has to do with the all-around fragility of Earth. Various phony catastrophes are perpetually afflicting the Earth – most prominently global warming, which is caused by an overabundance of carbon.

We know this is an elite meme simply because although it has been thoroughly debunked it still re-occurs. Most recently a panel of scientists wrote in the Wall Street Journal that there had been no appreciable global warming for the past decade.

But still the propaganda pours out of places like Tavistock – the elite mill of scarcity promotions. We are supposed to believe that a paltry one or two percent of carbon dioxide generated by industry is clogging up the atmosphere and causing life-threatening difficulties.

If you scoured the Earth to a depth of about two feet all that would remain of human society is a few odd, traumatized souls and a bunch of holes. That’s our “footprint.” It doesn’t run very deep. (Continues below)

Earth Hour Hijacks YouTube!

The idea that a kind of perambulating mold can “save” its putative medium is arrogance of a sort that could only have been concocted by modern elites intent on creating world government and wishing to use any ludicrous argument to advance it.

It is like positing that bacteria are responsible for salvaging their petri dishes. The Earth has been around for (at least) billions of years. It is basically a chunk of rock. Flora and fauna are apparently a fortitudinous or not so fortitudinous occurrence. The Earth has seen glaciers, droughts, volcanic eruptions, tidal waves and earthquakes and “survived” them all.

Worst case, the Earth is stripped of its living abundance and returns to the rocky surface of its prehistory. The only reason to “salvage” the Earth is if it begins to plunge toward the Sun. But dealing with that sort of situation is beyond us at the moment.

The well-know conservative columnist (and oil company PR rep), Alan Caruba, has penned an article about Earth Hour that makes some good points. Here’s an excerpt:

On Saturday, 8:30 PM local time, everyone will be invited to turn off all their electrical devices and presumably sit in the dark. According to the World Wildlife Fund, Earth Hour is intended to “encourage American cities to prepare for the costly impacts of climate-related extreme weather and reduce their carbon footprint.”

Earth Hour is an example of the enormous funding available to the Greens and of their continued assault on the world’s population to encourage and maintain its message that the Earth is imperiled by mankind’s activities, i.e., the use of energy. Earth Hour is a huge piece of international propaganda. Millions of dollars and man-hours have been expended to get the lights turned off from the Eiffel Tower to the Empire State Building, the Leaning Tower of Pisa to Australia’s Opera House.

You may have noticed there is no longer any reference to “global warming.” That’s because a growing percentage of Americans have concluded that global warming is a hoax. The same charlatans behind Earth Hour and the forthcoming Earth Day on April 22nd have mostly abandoned any reference to global warming and are now lying to you about “climate change” and, soon enough, will shift their message to “sustainability.” …

I recommend that you read a short book that explains how and why the environmental movement is a huge scam and a hideous attack on mankind. “Roosters of the Apocalypse” by Rael Jean Isaac ($8.95) is published by The Heartland Institute and can be purchased from its website …

Ms. Isaac tells the story of how, in today’s South Africa, the Xhosa tribe destroyed its economy in 1856. Based on a prophecy of a 15-year-old orphan girl, they killed an estimated half-million of their own cattle, ceased planting crops, and destroyed their grain stores. “By the end of 1857 between thirty and fifty thousand of them had starved to death—a third to a half of their population.”

Turning off all electricity during Earth Hour is no different from what the Xhosa tribe did and refusing to allow the drilling for oil and natural gas, or mining coal, all of which the United States has in sufficient abundance to make us energy independent and exporters of these energy reserves, is an act of national suicide; one that this international symbolism portends for any nation that abandons the energy that sustains economic growth and the welfare of millions.

Caruba was kind enough to send out the above “rant” as a press release. But he’s merely one voice amidst a flood, a deluge of mainstream media reports on the efficacy and necessity of an “Earth Hour.” Here’s something from the ChannelNewsAsia article excerpted at the beginning of this article:

“Over 50 staff have cumulatively pledged to cut their personal carbon footprints by over 25,000 kg” said Mr Ben Ridley, Credit Suisse’s APAC Head of Sustainability Affairs on the response thus far, adding that more pledges in the coming weeks are expected.

Taking part in Earth Hour for the third time is Singapore MAX Atria. Located at the Singapore EXPO, the eco-friendly certified convention centre will hold an Earth Hour edition flea market showcasing over 40 vendors selling eco-friendly products including pre-loved clothes, with 20 per cent of proceeds going to WWF Singapore.

Since Earth Hour is just right for candles to come out, the food court will offer cosy lit meals with non-essential lights switched off … Other than switching off for Earth Hour, other companies have green initiatives that go beyond just 60 minutes.

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (M&C) has a month-long conservation program starting 31 March, to switch off the air conditioning and lights in the offices during lunch time and increase the temperature in public areas by one degree. The hotel chain has plastered posters all over staff common areas encouraging employees to “sleep naked” or without air conditioning.

On and on this nonsense goes. We are comforted mostly by our perception of what we call the Internet Reformation– and the damage that it is doing to such elite dominant social themes. Generally, the global warming meme is in disarray. And that’s just one example. Not too many people, thank goodness, will take Earth Hour seriously. Or at least fewer than before.

Conclusion: Like the Gutenberg Press before it, the Internet Reformation is undermining the established myths that Western elites have concocted in their efforts to create a New World Order. We like to think that the Daily Bell is one modest example.

What Al Gore doesn’t tell you: CO2 has been 1000′s of times higher during the Cretaceous period and sea levels have been so high North America featured an inland sea. Antarctica was covered in temperate forests and dinosaurs.

Nothing embodies the corporate hijacked environmental movement more than the despicable hoax that is “Earth Hour.” Once a year, we are bombarded worldwide by a feel-good advertising campaign on TV, radio, billboards, fliers, in the newspaper and in every other conceivable way for an event that involves turning off the lights for one hour per year, to “take a stand against climate change.”

Not only has science failed to prove that anthropogenic climate change is happening – to the extent proponents like the White House’s John Holdren have relabeled “Global Warming” to “Global Climate Change” to the now most ambiguous version, “Global Climate Disruption,” but the evidence suggests that the “scientists” peddling this theory have defrauded the public again and again. Worth noting, is that John Holdren himself is a creature of Harvard’s Belfer Center, which is named in fact, after corrupt oil tycoon Robert Belfer. Much of the policy coming out of the Belfer Center ends up in front of delegates attending the very fraudulent and ineffective climate change summits held, most recently in Copenhagen and Cancun. The Corbett Report breaks down “Climate Gate.”

When we look at say, Earth Hour’s corporate sponsors, or the WWF’s corporate sponsors, or the myriad of banksters and oilmen that steer climate policy centers like Harvard’s Belfer Center we should realize that not only has big oil and the rest of the corporations defiling the planet hijacked environmentalism along with multitudes of well-intentioned activists, but these corporate interests are using it to defile the planet and its population further, only now with a perceived moral justification.

Could we expect anything less from an organization so large, with so many corporate affiliations?

Deutsche Bank’s “Carbon Clock.” The very idea that bankers, perhaps the most universally recognized mongers of greed and human misery, actually care about the environment is ridiculous. When you consider Deutsche is one of the “leading participants” in the carbon credit market, then it makes sense.

The proposed solutions of course, involve greater consolidations of power in the government’s hands to solve these problems – the solutions being carbon taxes that get paid directly to private bankers, rules, regulations and laws that only megalithic corporations can afford to comply with thus shutting out competition, and a laundry list of other non-effectual solutions that only empower the very corporations that have caused real, verifiable environmental damage.

What about real environmental hazards? How about the unfettered nuclear industry, depleted uranium being dumped over the ever expanding theaters of conflict the West is engaged in, or the genetically modified plants and animals that are displacing and corrupting the natural species that inhabit this planet? Or how about the ineffective, logistical & petroleum intensive mega-agricultural industry, poisonous herbicides and pesticides dumped onto our food by companies like Monsanto, free-trade that sees tons of diesel fuel burned to bring plastic trinkets from Chinese factories to America’s shores, and the list goes on ad infinitum.

Real solutions generally don’t involve corporations or government, in fact, as a necessity must exclude them. The marriage between corporate interests and government regulations should be something all of us can agree on, regardless of where we sit on the political spectrum.

Real solutions involve a real education in science, technology, design, and manufacturing. This empowers people in all levels of society to accurately assess problems and apply local solutions. This, coupled with modern manufacturing technology enables more to be done on a local level, short-circuiting the petroleum intensive logistical chains WWF sponsors like Walmart couldn’t live without.

Organic farming on a local level coupled with local farmers’ markets eliminates entirely the need for Monsanto poison, fertilizers, and genetically modified franken-crops, along with the replacement of the petroleum intensive logistical networks that distribute big-agri’s products.

In fact, when you think about it, almost all of these real solutions involve real community and local action. These are not solutions that involve policies, taxes, and regulations, but rather technology, education, constructive, pragmatic, technical solutions that not only would make our environment more livable, but make our local economies and communities more viable and self-sufficient. The catch is, and the reason why this isn’t being done, you will notice that none of these activities require WWF sponsors like Walmart, Nike, IBM, Toyota, Bank of America, Coca-Cola, HSBC, Citi, IKEA, Nokia, etc.

Does it make sense then, to see why real problems and their solutions have become the target of hijackers like the corporate conglomeration that is the WWF? Does it make sense to see them offering “alternative” centralized, corporate dependent solutions that replace local activism?

Please investigate for yourself, WWF’s corporate sponsors and see how many of them end up on this list, “Naming Names,” which exposes the corporations and special interests that keep us at perpetual war and on the edge of financial ruin.

Do we honestly think that these corporations care about the responsible stewardship of the planet? Do they care about people? Do they care about the environment? Are they not at the center of the most horrific scandals, atrocities, and wars of our age? If you care about your environment, do yourself a favor, keep your lights on during the next “Earth Hour”, and do some reading on how you can empower yourself, your community, and become independent from the petroleum hungry, world ravaging corporations that are promoting their version of “environmentalism” through hijacked organizations like the WWF. They have created in their own image a human-hating Malthusian religion of servile obedience to a world government that “promises” to fix the problems they themselves have created.

Let’s be smarter than this, let’s look past the slick public relations stunt that is “Earth Hour,” and look around locally at real solutions. Think and act locally. You know what’s wrong with your hometown and most likely you know how to fix it. Most importantly you and your neighbors can see it is in your best interest to do so, and it doesn’t require charlatans like Al Gore to hold your hand, paying him carbon taxes while you do it.

For all those Green morons calling on us to turn off our lights Saturday evening from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM to celebrate “Earth Hour”, this is what it looks like every night in North and South Korea. The North is in the grip of a Stalinist dictator and the South is a thriving democracy.

Like fire, electricity is truly a gift of the gods. It is the difference between the Dark Age and the present age…but not for everyone. Much of Africa is in darkness. too. People who hate civilization and the humans who created it are welcome to live out in the wilderness or in some primitive backward country where they burn dung to cook their meals.

If America doesn’t start building more coal-fired plants, nuclear plants, and other generators of electricity, we too shall live in darkness when the sun goes down. Be warned, the present administration is doing everything possible to make that future happen.

Earth Hour Propaganda Effort Turns Out the Lights

Australia’s largest city was shrouded in darkness on Saturday night as it launched a worldwide campaign stretching from Sydney to San Francisco to highlight global warming.

Sydney was the first major metropolis to mark Saturday’s ‘Earth Hour’, a self-imposed 60-minute black-out, with the lights on landmark buildings, corporate skyscrapers, businesses and homes switched off from 8:00 pm (0900 GMT).

From there the initiative, which aims to engage the community in combatting global warming, will see lights dimmed or turned off at 8:00 pm local time in Asian cities such as Bangkok and Manila, before spreading further to Europe and the Americas. Tel Aviv marked the event on March 27 for religious reasons.

Earth Hour’ founder Andy Ridley, who has said up to 30 million people could participate this year, said he was amazed at how far the initiative had spread since it was launched by environmental group WWF in Sydney a year ago.

“When we first talked about it, right at the beginning, our dream was to come up with something that made sense to a lot of people to do,” he told AFP.

“And what seems to have happened is that it does seem to make sense to a lot of people to do it.”

‘Earth Hour’ encourages governments, companies and homeowners to voluntarily switch off power to non-essential appliances for one hour to illustrate how, by working together, people can make a difference by using less energy, thereby producing fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
