Will AI 'Doomsday' Be Avoided?

With a simple look at the present where science is willing to put at risk the entire human race when there is any potential at all of that technology going rogue one needs not venture to far in the future to understand the dangers presented by today's technology and those who oversee and control it.

In a Daily Beast Article put out in 2007 Jay Keasling at UC Berkeley received $42 million from Bill Gates to create living microfactories that manufacture a powerful antimalaria agent. With this technology which is being funded by one of the globalist main eugenicist foundations, a "people who are defying Nature's monopoly on creation are a loose collection of engineers, computer scientists, physicists and chemists who look at life quite differently than traditional biologists do. In applying this advancement through a mis-match compilation of what amounts to hired hands with the dollars to create 'Frankensteins' through through human and synthetic genomes Harvard professor George Church wants "to do for biology what Intel does for electronics"—namely, making biological parts that can be assembled into organisms, which in turn can perform any imaginable biological activity.

Genetic Armageddon: Humanity's Greatest Threat

With even the slightest possibility of AI going berzerk in some form, is it still worth the risk without the discussion and preparation of being able to contain and 'jail' a runaway element of AI whether it be either synthetic, human or a combination of both? In a paper from 1998 entitled "Implications: Why Create Artificial Intelligence?" it was the position of Scientist Hubert Dreyfus, that  it is not even worth considering the negative implications because there is only a remote possibility that artificial intelligence will be dangerous. This type of approach is exactly that which needs most specifically to be taken into consideration as there is no turning back once it goes live. Another Top A.I. researcher Hugo de Garis explains in YouTube clip which has been removed that the development of super-intelligent A.I. may lead to a devastating world war that could kill billions of people. He adds that he is more than willing to take the risk, saying, “As a brain builder myself, am I prepared to risk the extinction of the human species for the sake of building an artilect? … yep.”

In a most recent article written by Jeremy Hsu of InnovationNewsDaily, titled a Humanity Must 'Jail' Dangerous AI to Avoid Doom, Expert Says computer scientist at the University of Louisville in Kentucky Roman Yampolskiy made the case "It can discover new attack pathways, launch sophisticated social-engineering attacks and re-use existing hardware components in unforeseen ways". If attacking computer networks and hardware isn't enough Mr. Yampolskiy says that the potential exist that "such software is not limited to infecting computers and networks — it can also attack human psyches, bribe, blackmail and brainwash those who come in contact with it."

Roman Yompolskiy was interviewed by Alex Jones in which the subject was seriously discussed and what solutions need to be looked at and the consequences that could exist should they not be properly considered and made as preparations to counter the possible doomsday scenarios.

The INFOWARS NIGHTLY NEWS airs weeknights at 7 PM CENTRAL. Become a PrisonPlanet.tv subscriber and help support the broadcast as we try to reach a new threshold of audience reach in attempt to warn humanity about this time of great struggle.

Alex talks with Roman Yampolskiy, a computer scientist at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, who recently wrote an article about the danger to humanity from AI and super-intelligent computers. Mr. Yampolskiy is trained in the fields of programming, forensics, biometrics and artificial intelligence. Alex also covers the latest on the Kony 2012 propaganda push, the prospect of the TSA being evicted from the nation's airports, and the PR problem for Obama's war effort following the arrest of a soldier in Afghanistan who is charged with killing 16 civilians. Alex also covers other important news of the day and takes your calls.
