Absurd doctor says feeding babies raw milk is ‘child endangerment’

"Thank you Dr. Gervich for your opinion. I appreciate the freedom you have to give such an opinion and the freedom of those who believe you are correct to follow that opinion. However, the willingness of the credentialed class to impose their science and health beliefs on the rest of us is at a minimum arrogance. Parents who choose a different path have just as much right to feed their families Farm Fresh Milk as the Dr. has to give his opinion. Unfortunately, Iowa's milk law has been captured by the corporate structure and the credentialed class and consumers do not have legal access to Farm Fresh Milk. The CDC statistics that are cited by Dr. Gervich are extremely slanted - as you would expect from an industry sponsored agency. The statistics used are incomplete and do not represent the safety of Farm Fresh Milk intended for human consumption vs. conventionally produced milk that is intended for pasteurization. Farm Fresh Milk, produced from grassfed, organically managed animals, is highly beneficial to all humans. Prior to the takeover of the health industry by the pharmaceutical industry, the Mayo clinic and others, used Farm Fresh Milk to cure disease - it was called The Milk Cure. It is time for Iowa to allow its citizens the freedom that exists in 40 other states - the right to acquire Farm Fresh Milk from the producer of their choice who uses the production protocols the consumer wants."

Incensed by the idea that Iowans might soon be able to make their own food choices when it comes to fresh dairy products, Daniel H. Gervich, M.D., a board-certified infectious diseases and critical care medicine doctor from Des Moines, Iowa, recently declared that feeding raw milk to babies is “child endangerment.”

This outlandish claim, which was part of a recent rant he made against raw dairy published in the Des Moines Register, infers that mothers who feed their babies raw milk are abusing their children. And should anything negative happen to these children during the time in which they are drinking raw milk, their parents should apparently be held criminally responsible in Dr. Gervich’s view.

The editorial was published in response to the proposition of House Study Bill 585, a bill that would undo the State of Iowa’s highly-restrictive laws against any sale or transfer of raw milk. If passed, H.S.B. 585 would allow farmers to sell raw milk and raw dairy products directly to customers from the farm, or have it delivered, without restrictions, to customers’ homes (http://coolice.legis.state.ia.us).

Demand for raw dairy all across the country is soaring as individuals learn about the health benefits of raw milk, including how lactose intolerance is not an issue when drinking raw milk. But in many states, including in Iowa, sales of raw milk are strictly prohibited, which is why legislation like H.S.B. 585 is being introduced everywhere.

But attempts to re-legalize access to raw milk continue to be met by outmoded superstition, bad science, and blatant misinformation campaigns designed to protect the filthy dairy industry from the threat of a burgeoning raw dairy market. After all, small-scale farmers can earn a much better living selling clean, pastured raw milk to their customers independently rather than be forced to process their milk into the standardized dairy pool, where they earn a mere fraction of the profits.

“Dr. Gervich’s overused soundbite simply serves as a perfect example of the establishment attempting to wreak fear in the hearts of all parents that their children might be removed from their home if they do not agree with the prevailing medical or nutritional model consistent with medical, industry, government, (and) stakeholder made up standards,” wrote Eileen Dannemann, director of theNational Coalition of Organized Women, in response to Dr. Gervich’s editorial.

“Does the Doctor, unschooled in nutrition, plan on calling Child Protective Services for ‘child endangerment’ on those mothers who seek unadulterated, un-homogenized, un-pasteurized farm fresh milk from a sister species as a substantially equivalent substitute?”

Global Activism is Taking Down the Toxic Corporate Food Industry

The foundation of the international food industry, monopolized by large corporations that hold zero regard for your health, is cracking. As more and more individuals begin to realize that they are eating their way to disease through the consumption of these products, they become outraged at the companies peddling their latest toxic food product. The result? Companies are now being forced to either answer to the consumer demands (removing the toxic substances from the food supply and adapting legitimate environmental manufacturing practices) , or lose their customers.

Increasingly, we see this happening on a larger scale. Major companies like Campbell’s have begun abandoning bisphenol A (BPA), the cancer-linked chemical found in can linings and plastic containers. The change comes after even the FDA was forced to re-evaluate the safety of BPA, potentially issuing a ban by the end of this month. Linked to cancer, diabetes, and much more, consumers have become fully aware of the dangers that BPA presents — and they aren’t handing over their hard-earned dollars to companies that refuse to remove BPA from their products.

On a larger scale, corporations are also being forced to remove high-fructose corn syrup. Well known for its health effects even throughout the general public, not only does high-fructose corn syrup breed obesity and cancer, but it is even known to contain mercury. Consumers are now refusing to eat anything that contains this ingredient, and for good reason. Even Michelle Obama has gone public in stating that she refuses to feed her own children products that contain high-fructose corn syrup. It is due to this that food titans like Sara Lee and Kraft have begun removing the ingredient from their products to avoid losing a large number of sales.

Activism and education is making legitimate changes in the way that the world eats and thinks.

While it is a major victory that these companies are phasing out these ingredients, it is only the beginning of the mass rejuvination of the food supply that needs to take place in order for consumers to experience optimum health. BPA and high-fructose corn syrup alone are creating biological devastation, but what about aspartame, MSG, genetically modified ingredients, trans fat, and other harmful additives? These harmful substances can be removed as well; it simply requires the same activism and education that is resulting in the removal of BPA and high-fructose corn syrup.

Spread the word. It will not only change the health of your close friends and family, but the entire globe. Removing just a few toxic ingredients can prevent countless unnecessary deaths as a result of disease development.

Bioethics Professor: Drug The Population Into Accepting ‘Green World Order’

A new paper to be published in Ethics, Policy & Environment argues that serious consideration should be given to mass drugging the population to make them more environmentally conscious while also proposing that babies should be genetically engineered to be smaller in order to reduce their carbon footprints.

In an interview with The Atlantic the lead author of the paper, New York University bioethics professor S. Matthew Liao, argues that humans need to be be subjected to “biomedical modifications” in order to help combat climate change.

Followed to their logical conclusion, Liao’s proposals outstrip anything Aldous Huxley wrote about in Brave New World, a 1932 dystopian novel about a future scientific dictatorship that seeks to drug, genetically manipulate, and medically induce humanity into complete slavish subservience.

Expressing regret that carbon taxes will do nothing to reduce carbon emissions, Liao suggests other methods, including “pharmacologically induced meat intolerance” where people would take drugs which would trigger extreme nausea or wear patches that would “stimulate the immune system to reject common bovine proteins.”

In order to reduce an individual’s “carbon footprint” and make sure they consume less, Liao suggests that a policy similar but more flexible to China’s one child policy be introduced, where parents can choose between having one large child, two medium sized children or three small children.

This would be accomplished by “preimplantation genetic diagnosis,” where embryos would be implanted based on height, or by using “drugs that reduce or increase the expression of paternal or maternal genes in order to affect birth height.”

Asked if genetic manipulation of babies is ethical or fair, Liao responds by citing the need to address “climate change” as the more pressing moral concern.

Liao subsequently suggests that drugging the public could positively influence their “will” to donate money to charities like Oxfam, which support the global warming agenda, by means of “pharmacological enhancement of empathy and altruism”.

“For example, I might know that I ought to send a check to Oxfam, but because of a weakness of will I might never write that check. But if we increase my empathetic capacities with drugs, then maybe I might overcome my weakness of will and write that check,” says Liao.

Of course, by the same token drugs could be used to make someone more inclined to do anything. Depending on what authority is in control, this basically represents an opportunity to chemically castrate free will.

Liao makes it clear at the end of the interview that the pharmaceutical industry is enthusiastic about the potential financial windfall from “biomedical modifications”.

“I recently gave a talk about this paper at Yale and there was a man in the audience who worked for a pharmaceuticals company; he seemed to think there might be a huge market for modifications like this,” he states.

The Atlantic’s Ross Andersen fails to denounce Liao’s ideas for precisely what they represent – the tools of a hardcore scientific dictatorship wrapped in a trendy, liberal, touchy-feely package.

The authors of the paper emphasize that all of this would be “voluntary” and not coercive. However, as we have seen with the vaccine agenda, parents who try to protect their children from dangerous inoculations, or whatever particular medical trend is in vogue, face consequences almost equivalent to if vaccinations were compulsory, since the state and the medical establishment engages in harassment and hands out punishments to the same degree.

Liao’s advocacy for pharmacological “enhancement” of the population is by no means the first time it has been mooted. As far back as 1977, current White House science czar John P. Holdren wrote in his book Ecoscience that the population should be sterilized with infertility drugs to help save the planet.

The usefulness of mass drugging as a means of creating a docile population has also been promulgated through the media, where the idea of putting lithium in the water supply as a “mood stabilizer” has been afforded serious credence. Other prominent professors and psychiatrists have also called for psychotropic drugs to be added to drinking water.

This marks the second time in a matter of weeks that the shockingly non-ethical recommendations of bio-ethicists have made the headlines. The previous controversy centered around a paper published in the Journal of Medical Ethics which argued that abortion should be extended to make the killing of newborn babies permissible.
